Story
Joe Lomas, Ben Shouler & Ben Musson are joining the Gravity Fundraisers on a challenging cycle from Paris to Twickenham which they are determined to complete in just over two days starting 6th June and the goal is to reach Twickenham HQ just in time for the Premiership rugby final on 8th June.
Their mission is to raise over £5,000 for two significant causes:
• The Matt Hampson Foundation, a leading facility for those with catastrophic sporting injuries, was set up after Matt suffered a catastrophic injury himself which left him paralysed from the neck down and breathing via the aid of a ventilator. Matt has ‘got busy living’ life as normal as possible whilst giving inspiration and a vision to all of those in a similar position by offering the most up-to-date facilities around
• Ed Slater was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease just under two years ago, and immediately, the charity Gloucester Rugby Foundation was officially formed adopting the 4Ed Campaign to secure funds for MND for Ed Slater and his family to help with the relentless fight against the cruelty of MND. Whether it is through support for families affected by MND or simply to raise awareness of MND, the work of the charity offers life-changing support for families living with the physical, mental and social effects of this terrible disease.
If you would like to sponsor and help raise money for these two fantastic charities, any donations would be greatly appreciated!
