Story
This is an urgent plea on behalf of two puppies, who are desperate to be together in a loving foster home that is waiting for them- they need your help to make their dream come true. Max previously had a home and his family took him to the vet claiming he had had an “accident with a lawn mower.” The vet concluded on examining him that he must have been tied up when this “accident with a lawn mower” happened. She told his family that the injuries were very severe, he was in extreme pain and he would need surgery. His family told the vet to put him to sleep as he was broken now, and they left. The vet’s heart went out to this poor bewildered little soul. She operated on Max and hospitalised him and contacted Paws2Freedom charity for help. Sadly though she couldn’t save two of his legs, despite all her best efforts. Paws2Freedom helped the vet find a secure place in a rescue. It was here that he found his soul mate, another small puppy named Gogo. Gogo had been previously abandoned on the streets. When Max was at the rescue recovering from his surgery, dear, loving little GoGo wandered in to see him and promptly sat down beside him and refused to leave. Day by day, Gogo would be found cuddling up to Max or sitting nearby while he received treatment for his hurts. They became inseparable; Gogo cried every time Max was out of sight. Deeply moved by the plight of the two pups, Paws2Freedom foster mum Susan has agreed to offer Max a foster home in Cornwall, so that his injuries can be assessed and to find out if he is suitable for a prosthesis to help him walk. As of now he only has two good legs and balancing is terribly hard for him. Of course, travelling right by his side will be little Gogo. We are sure he will want to oversee his best friend’s progress and make sure we are caring for him properly! But Paws2Freedom urgently need your help to raise the money needed for travel to their foster mum in Cornwall from Romania. Max and Gogo can then go forward in life together

8 years agoThank you so so much to everyone who has helped Max and Gogo. Thanks to your generosity, we now have enough to be able to bring Max over into the loving home that's waiting for him. But he can't travel without Gogo, they would both be heartbroken to be apart, which is why we still need your help. We really want to bring them over on the next transport run on the 8th December, which only gives us just over a week. But they are ready with their passports and waiting to go. Please help us make their dreams come true xx
