Until a few weeks ago we didn't know Momenul Haque, but we started following his story. Mo was diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2014 after a tumour “the size of an iPhone 5” was discovered. He has now been offered potentially life saving treatment but it comes with a hefty price tag, £200,000!! However this is a small price to pay for a life to continue. (This treatment is unavailable on the NHS!) We were moved by his story as we couldn't quite comprehend that money might be the reason he doesn't receive this treatment.

My name is Alex Taylor and together with my girlfriend (Stephanie Bryant) we have been travelling the world since June 2015. We have been fortunate enough to have this experience so now it is time to give back. We first saw Mo's story on Facebook when a friend had shared a link to it, we instantly started following along to see the progress. However, two weeks ago, we decided we were going to do something about it. We decided to set ourselves a challenge, a challenge that neither of us are properly prepared for...YET!

This challenge will see us cover a minimum of 2,200km across New Zealand. We are cycling from Bluff (Southern most point in the South Island) to Cape Reigna (As far North as you can get in the North Island). As you probably know already, New Zealand isn't exactly flat...

Now Mo himself managed to raise almost half of his treatment money, but with it costing £6,500 every three weeks, he needs to raise another £100,000 at least to get the full benefit.
