As an ambulance service ( ACP ), we are walking Pen-Y-Fan whilst carrying our station manager on a spinal board scoop. We are doing this to raise money to support Forget Me Not Dementia Day Clubs which is a local Swansea based charity. This charity is close to our hearts and one of our colleagues, volunteers here on a weekly basis.

Forget Me Not Day Clubs are for people with dementia and their carers to meet in a social environment across Swansea: to provide the person with dementia and their Carer an opportunity for friendship and to participate in social activities.

Raising money will help towards extra activities for those who are suffering with dementia and to give them social opportunities that without this service they wouldn't be able to do!
