Hello! We are PercusSing, a unique marimba and soprano duo specialising in contemporary classical music and folk song re-imaginings. We regularly commission new pieces from established and up-and-coming young composers, and our ethos is to promote innovative and alternative music-making. Having been performing together for almost 3 years, we both feel the time is right to make a record of our achievements and give back to our incredible music family, who have been so supportive. We hope to raise £500 to cover the costs of hiring a venue, recording equipment, mastering and producing the CD and making physical copies. Even a small donation will make a huge difference, and you'll be supporting Zoë and I on our journey to keep new music-making fresh, daring and entrepreneurial!

If you donate £10, we will send you a copy of the CD once it's finished, or you can attend our CD launch lunchtime concert on 1st July at York Unitarian Chapel with Late Music, and we'll give it to you in person! For a donation of £15 or more, you’ll appear in the CD cover as a supporter, and we’ll send you a CD plus a personalised token of thanks. If you won’t be able to join us for our concert, please send us you address via email (percussingduo@gmail.com) and we'll post out your CD as soon as it's ready.
