Story

On the 14th October 2023, 10 men will be setting off on a gruelling 50 mile walk from Hampton Court Palace to Brighton Palace Pier.

The journey itself will take roughly 20 hours, covers the distance of more then two marathons and will be walked throughout the night.

While tiresome, difficult and not without its dangers it is nothing compared to the journey that our friend Pete Fryer is going through.

Pete is a loving and devoted father to Lily, a fantastic friend and colleague to so many and above all the most genuinely hard working and honest man we have come to call family. Pete is an avid rugby fan and player of both Harlequins and Hayes respectively.

In June, Pete was admitted to hospital with intense stomach cramps, and after numerous tests and sleepless nights the worst possible news was delivered.

Pete has inoperable pancreatic cancer, and even with an aggressive course of chemotherapy the prognosis is not good.

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible through this 50 mile walk to help support Pete and his daughter Lily financially, so that they can spend what time they have left together.

We appreciate all help and donations and if you are somewhere along our route on the 14th please feel free to give us all the encouragement and support…..we will need it!
