My story is that when I was 16 I left school half way through my A Levels due to severe bullying. All I wanted to do was leave that school I didn't care about my qualifications at that time. A few years later I was working in a law firm where I saved up £3000 to do a Diploma and then a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies online distant learning. I passed this with a Distinction and was offered a place at University to study Business. I achieved a first class honours degree. I am now currently working in the NHS on a low salary, however would like to return to university to study a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. My future career plans are to create my own online insitution to offer people like myself who have no choice but to leave higher education but would like to further their career later in life. I would love the opportunity to successfully market this business to successfully gain funding from sponsors/government etc. so underprivileged people will not have to pay an extortionate fee to gain a qualification.
