Team Dot needs your help!!!

As u know our main fundraising comes from the annual charity day. Obviously we can’t do that at the minute & we need your help now.

Poppy is 9 years old & lives in Cregagh Estate. January 2021 Poppy was diagnosed with a malignant tumour in her head. Immediately chemotherapy started & then came to an abrupt halt. Poppy had to have surgery in her skull to remove the tumour & a metal plate inserted. Poppy being the warrior & bravest little girl did all this without complaint. While chemo had stopped to operate on her head there has been a significant spread to chest & lungs💔chemo cycles have started again & she has had a ct scan & thankfully there has been shrinkage!!!🙏 She is also half way through her 6 weeks of radiotherapy. Every day, 5 days a weeks. I think you can agree with me she is a true 'Warrior'!

All this comes at such a blow to the family not just emotionally but also financially. Chemo blasts are a 6 day hospital stay so the family have to split in half so that understandable someone is always with Poppy but also her brother & sister. We are hoping with your help to send Poppy, her mum, dad & much loved brother & sister on a staycation or if needs be help towards any financial costs.

We have been completely overwhelmed with the support we have had already. Between wee Macey walking 10,000 steps per day the month of June, raffles & golden goal. Donations from as far as Canada but also our absolutely amazing community.

July seen us provide little yellow ribbons to the Gertrude Star, Poppys daddys band! Yellow being Poppys favourite colour but ironically the colour used to bring awareness for sarcoma cancer. Well .......... there was literally an explosion of yellow overnight into East Belfast & even Scotland. We could not be prouder.
