PROCLAIMERS CHALLENGE

In 2024 my nervous rescue dog and I are going to attempt to walk 1000 miles for Mabel's Meals.

Why the Proclaimers Challenge ?

Because I quite often hum their famous song when walking and 1000 miles sounds just about achievable.

Why 1000 miles ?

Although this is only around 3 miles a day, this will be a HARD 3 miles. Some days she won’t want to walk at all, some days her walker takes her out, and some days I won’t be up for the mental and emotional challenge that is the krypton factor of walking with a terrified dog.

Finally Why Mabel’s Meals ?

This is the easy question. For all the reasons I have to give up my dog, not being able to afford to feed her has thankfully never been one of them.
