Story

Georgia Mansfield has talent and tons of dedication and grit to make it to the top in cycling. She has already won gold and silver medals in races: holds the Scottish Junior Women's records for 25 and 50 miles; has won Scottish Cycling's Best All Rounder award in her category for three consecutive years. She has been accepted onto the Scottish Cycling idevelop programme, and is just starting her 2017 race season - on road and on the track.

However, particularly as she finishes school in the north of Scotland, funding her necessary equipment and travel to races and Scottish Cycling training sessions in Glasgow (400 mile round trip) has taken its toll. Your help, enables her to continue to impress all around her, and will hopefully lead to selection for national teams and races. She is aiming high. We're all looking towards future Commonwealth and Olympic games.

I'm chair of Moray Wheelers' Project Georgia Fundraising Group. We have already raised funds to support Georgia's 2016 racing year, but with her success, we now need to support further training with Scottish Cycling, and her 2017 racing calendar to realise her full potential.
