Becoming an eco school will mean that QPIA will be able to increase environmental learning and benefit their local community. When chatting about the ten key environmental topics and the waste linked to Christmas with wrapping paper, cards and the impact of cutting down lots of trees to put up our in our houses, Harrison decided to make some cards on plantable seeded paper to give make to biodiversity. One of the top ten principles. He also thought about how the cards could be reused as a postcard the next year and then planted. He used the reuse, recycle, reduce triangle symbol to design his card.

Harrison has loved the newly developed outside classroom and hope to raise some more money to further develop the outside learning spaces.
I hope my cards grow into lots of pretty flowers and stop so much waste at Christmas time
The plantable and reuseable Chrsitmas cards help to support two of the ten environmental topics to consider when working towards to becoming an eco school, biodiversity and waste.
