Our aim is to not only benefit the local residents and those that enjoy the meadow for recreation, but to contribute to the wider biodiversity of our town and beyond. Together, we can make a difference in preserving and expanding our natural environment.

Our Goal:

Conservation and Monitoring: Our main goal is to carefully watch over and protect the variety of plants and wildlife in our area, making sure they are preserved for future generations.

Restoring Native Species: When we plan to add more plants, we will start with the ones that already grow here. If we need more variety then we will first look to native British plants and only if there are no other suitable options, we will look to add varieties that are good for pollinators and wildlife.

Funding for Projects: We actively seek grants and donations to raise the money we need to support our biodiversity projects. This money helps us to improve and protect the natural habitat more effectively.

Working Together: We want to build strong connections and work with local, regional and national organisations that care about biodiversity. By working together we can achieve common goals and have a bigger impact on preserving and expanding our natural environment.
