Our small golf club has been trying very hard to improve our facilities to attract more people of all ages to come and enjoy our facilities. Over the last year we have been going in the right direction and with very little money and with help of members and the local community have improved the course, clubhouse and general appearance of the club.

After our last committee meeting we decided to offer free membership to new lady and junior members as well as substantially reduced fees for youth and senior members as we really want to attract more of the local community to the club and encourage the youngsters of the community to take up the game.

Being a small club with limited funds this was a big step but we decided we want to work with the local community.

However on Saturday evening (18th March 2017) a number of mindless idiots decided it would be fun to drive across the course on quad bikes and do doughnuts on a number of our greens completely destroying all the hard work we have been carrying out for the last year as a club.

Therefore in order for the club to get the greens and fairways repaired we need to raise approx. £5000 so we can continue taking the club in the right direction and become more of a community club.

We thank you for your support and hopefully we can get the course repaired as soon as possible so we can then concentrate on fundraising to help refurbish the clubhouse so it can be used by the community for events and functions.
