The Heart of our Heritage: The Kitchen Renovation

The kitchen is more than just a place to prepare food; it's a hub of community, stories, and shared experiences. By renovating our kitchen, we aim to enhance our ability to serve not only delicious food but also a sense of connection to the past. The upgraded facilities will allow us to expand our menu, offering a taste of history to all who visit the RAF Heritage Centre.

A Journey Back in Time: The 1940s-Styled Tea Room

We want to transport our visitors back to the charm of the 1940s. Imagine a cream tea in an environment that echoes the spirit of that era—classic, nostalgic, and filled with the echoes of wartime music and stories. The restoration will bring a touch of authenticity, creating a space where history comes alive.

How You Can Help Us Soar:

We invite you to be a part of this incredible journey. Your generous contribution will fund the renovation of the kitchen and the transformation of our Tea Room. Every donation, big or small, will have a lasting impact on our ability to share the rich history of RAF Hornchurch and create a memorable experience for all who visit.

    Join Us in Making History:

As we embark on this endeavour, we invite you to become a crucial part of our story. Your support is not just an investment in bricks and mortar; it's an investment in preserving our shared history and creating a space where memories are made.

Thank you for considering supporting our project. Together, we can create a legacy that will inspire generations to come.

Kitchen work is well underway and we should be ready to serve food and drinks on 20th April. The funds raised on this page are going towards the redecoration of our tearoom. It has been painted in vintage colours and we are just buying some finishing touches. More soon!
