I've raised £1000 to support two amazing local charities, Tayside Cancer Support and Alzheimer's Scotland, Dundee Dementia Resource Centre.

Story

Myself, and my colleagues Kirsten Gray, Nadia Wilkinson, Rachel Taylor, Euan Martin, Ryan Galloway, Neil Johnston, Neil Wilson, Finlay Smart, Amy Jordan, Vicky Aitchison, Owen Anderson Peacock, Chris Noble, Craig Batchelor, Shaun Gormley, Robbie Watson, Cameron Thornbury, Taylor-Lee Burns, Jamie Hay, Brian Niblock, John Smith, Maia Laing, Peter McConnachie and Ross Cathcart from Robertson Construction Tayside are taking part in the Dundee 2024 Kiltwalk.

Tayside Cancer Support offers a free confidential one-to-one befriending service for those affected by cancer in the Tayside area. They establish support groups which offer a valuable network for people facing a diagnosis of cancer or if they are struggling to cope with a loved ones illness. As part of their personalised approach they work with clients offering a range of counselling and complementary therapies tailored to suit each individuals needs.

Alzheimer's Scotland, Dundee Dementia Resource Centre support people with dementia, their families, relatives and friends at any stage of the illness. They offer information and emotional support, community activities for people with dementia and their carers, peer support groups and day care.

These are charities which are close to our hearts and were nominated by all employees at Robertson Construction Tayside, therefore we are really going to do our best to support these amazing worthwhile causes by trying to raise as much as possible. Any donation, however small towards these amazing causes would be very much appreciated.
