Royal Holloway Women's Rugby are doing a 24 hour pass-a-thon and it would be great if you could donate and share this event! We will start the 24 hour pass-a-thon outside the Windsor Building on Friday 18th November and will finish on Saturday 19th November, braving the lovely British weather conditions.

We are raising money for Anthony Nolan, which is a charity which is very close to our hearts. One of our players was unfortunately diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia. This is a rare condition where the bone marrow is unable to produce enough new healthy blood cells.T his causes a deficiency of all three blood cell types: red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Due to her diagnosis, she was unable to return to university this year and unable to play rugby. Anthony Nolan are such an important charity, who not only are a support unit for those diagnosed but they also try to get more people signed up to register as a donor. Luckily she has found a match within her family but there are many more who are still waiting for a match.

A small percentage of the funds raised will go towards RHUL Women's Rugby. This will help to cover various aspects within the club. We are tying to raise funds within the club due to cuts that occurred throughout the university in relation to club funding.
