Renfrewshire Schools Pipe Band has over 50 members from schools across the local authority. During competition season 2023 the band achieved 2nd at the European Pipe Band Championships, 1st at the Scottish Pipe Band Championships and 1st at the World Pipe Band Championships (Nov B). Moving from Novice B to Novice A at the season end.
The success of this band has lead to the creation of a second band. During season 2024 both a Novice A and B band will compete.

To celebrate their fantastic achievements the band are travelling to New York to participate in Tartan Day 2025. As the Fundraising Committee we are now trying to raise funds to help the band go to New York. Every member of this band deserves the opportunity to participate regardless of their personal or financial background.

The young people in this band have been working hard to raise money through busking, and a Race Night. Other fundraising events such as a Quiz Night and Concert are being planned along with many other fundraising activities.
