    Story

Ok, this is a very simple request to assist with funding that will go towards the financial cost of getting me to Gotland 2017 and representing the Western Isles at the World Island Games. My place is secured on the team but I still need to set a qualifying time in a ranking event. Going by my current times and training, I feel that I have a great chance of bringing home a medal (maybe gold). The £1500 target I have deduced will cover the travel aspects of getting to Gotland and the lead up cost associated with race entry etc. I know this is a big ask but I'm asking for your faith in me as a competitor and in return I will keep you posted to all of my training via Facebook and a cycling app called Strava. Join me in the race for Gotland, your help is massively appreciated and no matter how little or big your pledge, I thank you sincerely. Stuart
