Story
Hi,
This Christmas is going to be a cold and miserable one for thousands of displaced peoples all across Europe. The good work of organisations like Help Refugees gives some hope and provides as much as possible to hundreds in Northern Greece who have fled persecution.
Rachel Shellien and I will be going out on the 17th until the 27th December to volunteer with the organisation in their warehouse alongside a refugee camp, near Thessaloniki.
As well as providing ourselves, we're aiming to raise some money to help provide necessities, from nappies to food. NO DONATIONS ARE FOR US, all the money will be used for aid for those in the camps.
On the 27th November I'll be running the Kingston 10k to raise awareness and funds for this. Rachel will have her own activities too.

So a week closer to our leaving date and a week of constant excitement about it. We heard back from Help Refugees with further details about our work, and we're incredibly happy that Mia Thomas has decided to come with us. Flights booked, in the next few days accommodation and car rental will be sorted and we will be almost all set to go!
