Story
As people flee from war there is a long-term need for care and comfort. Many refugees are welcomed by churches in neighbouring countries who develop a support network. The reformed Church in Hungary is a partner of Church of Scotland and is bringing support to those hoping for safety from the war in Ukraine. Our Presbytery linked Church in Tripoli, Lebanon has been hosting Syrian refugees for over ten years, whilst Lebanon itself faces a severe economic crisis. This appeal will be split equally between both churches that host refugees, helping them to plan longterm.
Throughout crisis, compassion and God's love will be shown.
