    Story

Bangladesh has almost 800,000 blind people, of whom 40,000 are children under the age of 15. Since 2004, more than 6,562 have been diagnosed with cataracts and 90% have received eye-restoring surgery.

According to the World Health Organisation, 87% of the visually disabled live in underdeveloped countries. Eye experts say 80% of blindness can be cured. However, 75% of the population of Bangladesh live in remote villages with few basic facilities. Besides being afraid of treatment and surgery, there is also the heavy cost of such help.

Details of cost are as follows:

    Pre-Lasik Test Tk. 5,000/-
Lasik Surgery ( Both eyes) Tk. 50,000/-
Lasik Surgery ( One eye) Tk. 25,000/-
Follow up charge Tk. 500/- (For first post-op day only

    Other than LASIK surgery:

    PRK (Both eyes) Tk. 55,000/-
    PRK (One eyes) Tk. 28,000/-
    PTK (Both Eyes) Tk. 40,000/-
PTK ( One eye) Tk. 20,000/-

Dear brothers and sisters, our children deserve to see this beautiful world. However poverty has disallowed them to get treatment, together with your help we can change the lives of 500 Bangladeshi Children from the Sylhet district. I kindly as everyone to donate to this cause and may Allah swt grant you all a place in Jannat.
