At school, Reuben’s class were raising money to sponsor an animal for a year and the class chose penguins. Reuben had his heart set on adopting an orangutan after learning that they are very endangered and so wanted to raise money himself to adopt an orangutan for one year.

Reuben has chosen to do a sponsored litter pick! We will be spending a few hours picking up as much litter as possible from one of our local parks to both help the environment and raise the money to sponsor an orangutan.

Reuben said “I want to sponsor an orangutang because there are only a couple left, because their forests are getting chopped down.
