The day after, and who would plan to do a long cycle ride on the hottest day of the year. Well the heat slowed us down a bit, but the whole team made it, and we arrived at the musum to a lovely welcome just after 3pm. Well done to everyone who took part and helped us out on the day. A special mention for Margaret and Becky for whom this was the first longer ride. Despite the heat, they stuck at it and made it to the finish line. Margaret you were amamzing to keep going up hints hill, our very own king of the mountains.

Two weeks to go to the main event. Keir Highways are kindly providing two vehicles for transport to Coventry on the day, and to act as our support vehicles as we ride back to Whittington. We will be leaving the museum by vehicle at around 8am, and will be setting off from the Cathedral on our bikes from around 9.30am, shoud anyone want to see us off. We will be stopping off at Merriden and Kinsgbury water park before arriving back at the museum between 2 and 3pm.
