    Story

Cotton farming in India is tough. Really, really tough. A poor monsoon season leads to huge debts and disaster, often leading to farmer suicides. For these cotton farming communities, clouds bring hope and dreams. Doug brings all of this together for you. Doug is the hero of this story. People are probably wondering; How is Doug a hero? Well here is how... Income from cotton farming is unreliable and insufficient. This is where Doug comes in. The women get free training and free raw materials for making these clouds in their spare time and they get paid for every Doug they make. Plus, 100% of the money raised goes back to the community to empower them and help pay off their debts. For them every Doug is a cloud with a silver lining. How can you help? All we are asking for is a small donation on our page which will go a long way.
