Whilst in Romania we aim to provide the best nursing care we possibly can. We will visit and work in various settings that will lack basic equipment. We aim to provide the local hospital, baby home, hospice and community setting with as much vital equipment as they need. In order to help us raise the funds that are so badly needed we have signed ourselves up to Hell&Back! Irelands toughest mental and physical endurance challenge! (Basically a seriously hard 10K mud run). It takes place on October 8th. The money that we raise will be used during our 4 weeks there to buy basic equipment which will improve the quality of life for people in Romania. In recent years this has included cots for the baby hospital, oxygen equipment for the main hospital and basic dressings for care in the community. These are all very basic essentials that we take for granted however in a country suffering from poverty these are luxuries. We want to return home in March knowing that we have made the biggest difference we could have, please help us on this journey and give whatever you can! Every penny is greatly appreciated!
