Weʼve raised £2,170 to Row solo around the coast of Britain to support MIND and RNLI.

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
This summer I will be attempting to set a world record to row 2000 miles non-stop around the coast of Great Britain. Before this year I'd never set foot on a boat before!
I'm hoping to raise a bundle of cash for MIND and RNLI

This is widely regarded as one of the toughest endurance ocean rowing challenges on the planet. Circumnavigating the British Isles in a 7 metre rowing boat involves navigating the worlds busiest shipping lanes, dangerous tidal currents and the bitterly cold North Sea, whilst carrying all the supplies required to survive the journey onboard. I will be stopping only to eat, sleep and shelter from any storms, I'll not be stepping back on dry land until the challenge is over.
Due to the way Just Giving is set up a crowd funding page is the best way to raise money for both charities. (Mind & RNLI).
99% of the donations that I receive will go direct to the chosen charities,
1% will go to help towards the cost of the row.

Well done Andy! I was the 'old' guy on the orange kayak at Chapel Point, Cornwall. Nature conspired against you this summer - that in no way diminishes the huge effort you put into this challenge.

Do you now have to row back?

Chris and I chatted with you at Sandy Haven. An excellent effort given the prevailing weather. We hope you might try again with better luck!

Hello, my name is Andy. This year I'll be rowing around the coast of Britain to try and set a world record and raise a bundle of cash for two very deserving charities. It would be great if you would consider supporting the row.
