Hello everyone,

On Saturday 17th August 2024 I will be running the Foxton Hound 50k, my first ever (and hopefully only!) ultra marathon. While this race started as a personal goal of mine, I’ve decided to turn this journey into an opportunity to support a cause that truly matters.

A dear friend and colleague of mine is facing a heartbreaking battle with a terminal brain tumor. This illness has not only affected him but also deeply impacted his young family, who are navigating this incredibly tough time with immense courage. This has inspired me to use my upcoming ultra marathon as a way to provide some support and relief.

I did not initially set out to run this race to raise money, but when I realised that I could combine this personal challenge with a chance to help a family in need, it felt like the perfect opportunity to do something meaningful.

Your support would mean the world to me and, more importantly, to them. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Together, I hope we can ease their burden and show them that they are not alone in this.
