I've raised £500 to To provide financial support to the family of Louise Hall, who sadly passed away from brain cancer, leaving a husband and 4 children.

Louise “Lou” sadly lost her life after finding out she had three inoperable brain tumours which were of the highest serverity. After being told at the end of July the devestating news of her tumours she under went a biopsy and was waiting to start treatment. Trajically, Lou never began treatment as the tumours grew too fast resulting in her passing on the 23rd of August, 2023. Lou leaves behind her husband Dan and four children ages 12, 9, 5, and 1.
When finding out the news of her tumours she desperatley wanted to make as many memories with her children as she could. This meant taking her kids to one of her favourite places, Disney, so she could see the magic on their faces. As this was not able to happen, and because Disney is expensive, we are doing our best to raise funds to support Dan so he can fulfill the trip Lou wanted to take with the children and any extra financial support possible.
Lou loved her family and friends with all of her being. She never asked for anything but gave everthing to those around her, including her God children who’s dad is in the military. She was truely one of a kind leaving a whole in many hearts. She displayed true commando spirit in unselfishness, courage, committment, and cheerfulness in adversity throughout her illness. We look to honour Lou in this fund raising event of running the David Goggins challenge of 4 miles, every for hours, for 48 hours (4x4x48). This will be done in true commando fashion, wearing combat trousers and boots with the last 4 miles being done carrying 30lbs to simulate the burden Lou faced.
We would greatly appreciate any donations to help Lou’s family get to Disney and during this very difficult time. The run, which we are naming Run for My Lou, will begin Thursday the 23rd, of November finishing Saturday the 25th. Leading up to the run and on the day we will be sharing pictures and videos so you can follow along as we Run for My Lou. All proceeds will go directly to Dan when the run is finished.
