I've raised £7500 to support Ryan's spinal injury rehabilitation.

Ryan is a wonderful part of Woodbridge's community, a polite, engaging fun loving teenager who is a fabulous and caring friend to so many. Always in involved in activities and adventures, including rugby, skate boarding, football and as part of the Farlingaye High School community, where he sat his GCSE's this summer.
Ryan recently sustained a very serious spinal injury which has left him in need of long term treatment and rehabilitation in a specialist spinal unit. Ryan will be moving from CCU to a spinal ward in Ipswich Hospital before being transferred to either Stoke Mandeville or Sheffield for intensive specialist treatment.
Running For Ryan! I'm a keen middle to long distance runner, happiest out on the trail...exploring nature along the Suffolk Coast & through the forests. I'm keen to raise funds through my running to support this amazing young man.
I would like to kick start some fundraising by asking for sponsorship for the Suffolk Coastal Ultra Marathon I'll be completing on the 14th September. I'll be 'Running for Ryan'.
No family can ever prepare for something like this to happen. It is daunting to consider exactly what will be needed along the road to recovery but by making even the smallest of donations we can all help Ryan's journey.
The money I raise will be used to help fund Ryan's rehabilitation, including but not limited to, the hiring of wheelchair friendly travel, supporting his needs during his long stay away from home and facilitating the ability to keep in touch with friends - this will be such a vital part of Ryan's recovery journey.
With the support of Ryan's mum Kim I will be providing regular updates.
