Lucky Shelter is helping more than 170 cats and kittens, rescued from the streets or from cat meat restaurants all over Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our main goal is to give them a safe, loving environment while we search for new forever homes for them
We also support trap and release programs throughout the city to help get the stray population under control and discourage people from poisoning them; and we run awareness days at local schools to teach the next generation how to take care of animals
On 26/3/23 we will have a team running the Saigon Olympic Day Run to raise money for the shelter. Our runners include: Jason and Lily Ovenden, Andy Tivendale, Wayne Edens, Becca Cronin, Bee, Jono, Lara and Jamie Smith, Alex Parker, Jesus Lopez-Gomez, Polly Webster, Kelsey Grainger, Leigh Jones, Riz Harcus and our founder Trang Pham :)
