Weʼve raised £745 to help pay SAFE's additional vet bill for unexpected complications, medication and after-care following 10 castrations on rescue ponies

Story
SAFE takes in abandoned horses and ponies in Berkshire and Surrey. 90% of abandoned horses are colts - young, un-neutered males. These boys have to be castrated before they can be re-homed which is a costly operation . In October, 10 boys (including Badger, Henry and Teddy, pictured) were castrated, but unfortunately six of the operations were more complex than expected, and the vet bill has escalated, wiping out funds.
As SAFE goes into winter with 20+ horses in care, they have never been more in need of funds to clear the vet bill and prepare for the inevitable influx of horses cast away requiring help.

SAFE is not yet a registered charity - but have an application with the Charities Commission (England & Wales) and are actively working towards this status.
