As part of our ambitious plans to develop our Sandy Lane ground to provide facilities for our Seniors, & Juniors "Soccer Stars" to be proud of and show their skills, we are undertaking various fundraisers over the coming months including our December Fun Run (Marathon, half, & Junior Mile), our "Around the Grounds" Sponsored walk, and Sportsmans Evening.

Our target is high, but so is our ambition to erect a seated stand, further spectator walkways and a dedicated Juniors pitch, with Community Football Pitches for the Children of Saltney to enjoy anytime, along with improvements to Matchday Facilities, ground equipment, and the surface itself.

Dec 17th Fun Run
Player/Manager Jake Gibbons, and members of his squad Jack Roberts, Paul Johnson, Shaun Hughes, Tom Chrimes, Jay Connah & Warren Kelly will be taking on a Full Marathon, whilst Dan Nicholson, Paul Hughes, Nathan Jones and Rob Shaw will be taking on the Half, with our 2-7 year old Soccer Stars Juniors will take part in a Junior Mile. We will have Junior and Seniors Christmas Parties to follow the Run. A huge effort by all, it would be great to see your support and sponsors.We are not fortunate enough to have the vast sums of money pumped in like other clubs in our league, and this truly is a team effort to try and create something that matters to our playing members and community.

We will set further targets and appeals for the Around the Grounds Sponsored walk in the New Year, along with finalising details and commencing ticket sales for our Sportsmans Evening set for March/April.
