Hi Guys,

As most of you are aware we are entering the Birmingham half marathon and will be running 13 miles on the 16th October 2016 to raise £1000 for a Sensory room to be fitted into the home of Elsie and Evie Mullings, twin girls who have been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy since birth.

Cerebral Palsy is the general term for a number of neurological conditions that effect movement and coordination, symptoms can affect didn't areas of the body and vary in severity in person to person,some people only have minor problems where as other are severely disabled.

Unfortunately there is no cure for cerebral palsy however there are numerous treatments available which can have a positive influence and help people with the condition to be as independent as possible, one of the treatments which has been known to benefit people with the condition is a sensory room.

Sensory room are beneficial for children with cerebral palsy as they provide relaxation and general state of mind. The girls have been diagnosed with one of the more serious forms of the condition and Evies eyesight has been effected more so then Elsies so the sensory room will provide lighting stimulation and could potentially improve her eyesight to one day become as good as her sisters.

As you can appreciate we are not able to achieve this on our own therefore we are reaching out to as you lovely lot for your help....
