Story

Sandra and Lucy are walking the Mendip Way on 9th & 10th August 2023 to raise money for their respective charities. It's a 30 mile grueling walk taking them from Uphill to Wells via Crooks Peak and Cheddar Gorge. This will be quite a challenge to complete in 2 days due to the conditions we both have.
We both have rare conditions that we have to live with every day, but would love to raise money and awareness for.

Sandra has lived with AS since her teenage years, through determination manages the condition well, and even jogs several times a week and excels in her full-time career at Weston College as a Dean of study. Sandra regularly raises money for NASS to help others with this condition.

Lucy found out she had Lymphangioleiomyomatosis 4 years ago. It's a condition that causes your body to over produce sists in her lungs, reducing airspace and difficulty transferring oxygen around her body effecting breathing, with no cure. Lucy would like to help raise money to go towards research to hopefully help find a cure for others in the future.

We appreciate anything you can donate to us. All donations will be split equally between NASS and LAM once we have completed our challenge.
Anyone is welcome to join us along the way! Thanks in advance for your generosity xx
