We are very lucky at Salter Street in that we own our own minibus. This is the workhorse of the group and supports all our activities including camps, trips away, walking weekends and all manner of Scouting events.

The fact that we have the minibus helps us keep the cost of most events down to a minimum as it saves us from hiring coaches on a regular basis.

This year the minibus has failed its MOT and is in desperate need of some restorative work in order to pass the MOT and more importantly to ensure she is fully safe to travel in.

The Group has had some heavy bills in the last few years that has seen funds depleted somewhat to a point where the cost of the repairs will leave us in a precarious financial position.

We are appealing to all parents and adults who support the Group to help contribute towards this work to be done and kindly ask for a suggested donation of £20 each. If you can afford more then please consider an additional amount.

All funds raised will go to the costs of the repairs and if there is anything left then this will all go towards Scouting activities.
