This year I will be doing 2 events this year on back-to-back weekends. On Sunday 1st of October I will be competing in the Brackley Sprint Triathalon including an 800m swim, 15km bike ride finished with a 5km run.

The following weekend, on the 8th of October, I will be running the Oxford half marathon. Both of these events are being run by me to raise money for the Hands Off Our Horton campaign once again. Just recently we heard the maternity unit will be permanently down graded as part of the government's disastrous STP strategy. Even more essential services are under threat at the Horton but as always, there is a team of dedicated individuals who are fighting against these. I'm hoping to raise awareness of this important movement in Oxford, where decisions are being made. It is a very well attended even through the centre of the city with journalists and local papers in attendance.

Any amount is appreciated. Chances are either yourself or someone close has received treatment at the hospital, but once it's gone, it's gone.
