On October 11th 2016, my best friend went to the Gym, to this day she has not returned home.

Sonia is a vibrant, happy and driven person, who was at the peak of her professional game.

In the past month, Sonia has suffered a brain haemorrage, a stroke, mennigitis and now has limited access of her left side and her sight is yet to return. All this at the tender age of 35.

35, a frequent gym goer, a healthy lifestyle, a thirst for life. Fell one day in the gym and suffered so immensely.

Although the NHS have been superb in their care we now face a long and hard recovery period which will incur costs and expenses no one had plan for. Would you at 35? I haven't.

We are raising money for Sonia so that we can give her the best possible start when she leaves the hospital, so we can adapt her apartment so she can move around safely without causing any further complications or injury, covering her expenses while she remains unpaid out of work, covering transport and repaying the emergency accommodation her family used whilst staying down in London.
