Next year is the 10th anniversary of the Scottish Pan Disability Football League in Scotland. It provides football for over 500 players, many of whom would be unable to participate in mainstream football. For the 10th anniversary, we are aiming to host a Home Nations Tournament involving teams from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. Having returned from holiday, I decided I needed to lose weight. My colleague Douglas and I decided that whoever loses the least weight between 19th July and 31st August, would donate £50 to the others nominated charity..... That was the motivation. My parent company Brickability PLC provide a charity match up to £3000 which is my aim to raise this to get it matched! We weighed in this morning and there is only 1lb between us. All donations are to this great cause and the match funding will be a great assistance. By going public the pressure is on, so all donations are gratefully accepted. Help us to make this happen! Our funding is limited and as Chair of the League Management Committee, this is something I want to happen for our amazing players. The result of the bet will be announced as well!
