We are the 176 Project Nile Scouts, dedicated to enhancing the scouting experience for your children. As part of a global network, we emphasise a range of indoor and outdoor activities to nurture future leaders in a fun and safe environment.

We're here to raise funds to renovate our building, ensuring a clean and improved space for our scouts to thrive. Your support will enable us to provide the best possible scouting experience for our youth.

We have been operating for the last 2 years and currently run three sections, managed by our dedicated volunteers. We are looking to develop the sections to accommodate the various age groups.

We are fortunate to have acquired the Scout Hut which is in the heart of the community, a building that has served many young people in the past. It does however require a lot of renovation works to bring it into a good state to be used by scouts and the wider community.

The renovation project will include the following:

Renovation of boys and girls toilets
Renovation of the kitchen
New flooring throughout
Roof and gutter repairs
Painting all round
New fire doors
Insulation
New heating system
Electrical Re-wiring

The approximate costs are in the range of 25k and we will be looking to utilise local trades and secure donations where possible.
