During the expedition to Ecuador I will work on humanitarian projects that will have a life-changing impact on the local community such as building schools in remote areas. I will spend time working on environmental projects such as helping tackle deforestation and protecting endangered wildlife. I will also take on new challenges such as learning to scuba dive, whilst carrying out conservation work on the coast, educating locals about the impacts of blast fishing and destroying marine life. Ecuador is the most biodiverse country in the world. I will stay in four different areas and experience first-hand the wide-ranging issues facing this country and its unique wildlife.
