When the envelope dropped on the mat last October? and we discovered we'd been accepted for the London Marathon 2017, little did we know what lay ahead.
26 miles....not that bad really. Really?!!!

Wow, how wrong we were. To run 26 miles, you need to train. And train hard. And often. And it takes over your life. Because you can't let yourself, family, friends or the rest of those running on April 23rd 2017 down. We are filled with excitement, nerves, fear and apprehension but most of all pride. For something so significant, we felt that we wanted to make it special not just for us, but for many. So we have decided to raise money for cancer charities....you can donate by visiting our just giving page.

So come rain, snow, ice, hale, late nights, tiredness or pure can't be botheredness, we have needed to dig deep and push hard. Thinking positive is only the start, to cross the line we know we still have a battle ahead. But we are determined, we are strong and we will do it. We ask that you support us by giving to our nominated charity. If we all do our bit, we all do what we can, we can make a difference.

Shani will be mindful of her dear friend Jayne Horsfall who was incredibly brave and positive during her treatment, she has been an inspiration to everybody. Love her outlook.

Rach will be thinking of her close family and friends (you know who you are).
