On 14/06/24 i’ll be running John O’Groats to Lands End (the length of the UK) averaging 80km per day, finishing on 30/06/24. This is in order to fundraise for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals after all the help and work they put ibto aiding my dad through his battle with terminal cancer & for the support they try to offer my mum during her early on-set alzheimer’s. Ny dad worked closely with STH being a professor at the University of Sheffield and the lead of adult neuro-imaging. The NHS and the hospitals/organisations linked to it are a godsend that are being systemically starved of resources and funding, and so any opportunity to aid them i believe we should do so (hence this fundraiser). All money donated here will be given directly to Sheffield Teaching Hospital for them to use how they see fit.
