*****************UPDATE TO ALL***********************
WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN A DONATION OF £1000 AND ALSO A DONATION OF £250 FROM PRIVATE DONORS.
We are a small group of women from Shipston-on-Stour hosting a free Community Christmas party.
This is being held at the Townsend Hall on Christmas Day, and we would like to invite anyone who might find themselves on their own, and who would prefer to spend the day celebrating with others.
Loneliness and social isolation can be harmful, not only to our health but to our well being, and it is our goal to bring people together, and support those who need it on Christmas Day.
We intend to raise money for the full day. This will include:
Christmas Bingo
Raffle
Turkey Roast
Wine, Tea, Coffee, Sherry & juice
Christmas pudding, including cream and ice-cream
Rental of a TV screen showing the Queens Speech & Christmas carols
presents from Santa Claus for all
Any money left over we will donate to the Stour Valley Lions to be used to support their work in the community of Shipston.
