    Story

The aim of the SmokeFreeARTS campaign is to raise awareness about the tobacco industry’s involvement in funding arts organisations in the UK. www.smokefreearts.org.uk/
Several tobacco companies fund/sponsor arts organisations as a part of their corporate social responsibility campaign by which they attempt to improve their public image. Often, in return for sponsoring arts organisations, tobacco companies gain exclusive VIP benefits allowing them to host exclusive events which they can use as venues to promote their commercial agenda and influence policy makers.
The SmokeFreeARTS is inviting arts organisations and arts funders to sign a declaration to stop tobacco companies’ involvement in funding arts organisations.
