Our dear friends at Cherpokov Rowing Club in Bulgaria, have always welcomed us with open arms when we go for our annual training camp in June.

Cherpokov Rowing Club was created by Kiril Kirchev, an Olympic and World Championship rower, and is one of the most successful rowing clubs in Bulgaria. Last year they actively trained over 80 athletes of all ages, and delivered nothing but success. Winning a wide variety of medals and cups, including the Cup of Bulgaria, which is awarded to the most accomplished club of the year.

Sadly, in July this year, their boathouse caught fire and burnt down, destroying everything inside. Their boats, blades, tools and kit have all perished and they don’t have sufficient funds to replace it all.

Our goal is to raise £2000 to help replace the boats and blades that perished in the fire, and get our friends back on the water.

Donations of old boats and blades, parts, tools and anything else rowing related would also be gladly received.

There is no donation too large or too small, so please donate any amount you can spare.
