Dear all,
Many of you have been asking about buying baby Sophie a gift, if you're planning to buy little Sophie Carson a 'welcome to the world' gift can I ask that you make a contribution to the crowdfunding page we have made. As her mum I feel profoundly affected by the incredible care and support I received from the Maternity Team at Frimley hospital and I would like to be able to buy them something more than a box of chocolates and some flowers. What we'd like to do with the money is to buy some of the staff who made a significant impression on us, an individual gift, and then a gift to share for the Maternity Team as a whole, and if there is any money left over to make some sort of charitable contribution in Sophie's name to the Maternity Department.
We finally made it home yesterday after nearly a week in hospital.
I know that in the grand scheme of things we have not required significant care but I feel unbelievably affected and changed by the care we have received so far and we'd really like to show our appreciation to the hospital and the staff.
