I've raised £2000 to fund the annual Southport Christmas Shelter

The Southport Christmas Shelter was established back in 1991, to provide hot and cold daily meals to those most in need across local communities. This is predominantly for homeless and vulnerably housed clients however, any in need are welcomed in.
The Southport Christmas Shelter is here to fill the gap when many mainstream services pause for the festive season. On an average day the Southport Christmas Shelter will serve 60 guests with breakfast, hot lunch and take-out dinner. In addition to this guests will have access to clothing, toiletries and food parcels (these items are donated and collected seperately).
The Southport Christmas Shelter is operated solely by volunteers and is dependent entirely on fundraising and donations. The annual cost to run the Shelter at Christmas over 4-5 days is currently approximately: £2,000, which funds all foodstuffs for the meals, shelter equipment and utility costs.
In 2023 the Southport Christmas Shelter will operate from Friday 22nd to Tuesday 26th December (inclusive) between the hours of 8am to 3pm.
