Story
Sowing SMILES is a local community based project, passionate about providing free workshops and work experience placements for individuals in our community from all walks of life . We aim to help individuals become more confident about who they are and with practical help and support we aim to help them discover new skills. We support young careers, the stroke society, individuals with mental health issues, individuals with physical disabilities, The homeless and those suffering from life controlling issues. We are in need of a downstairs toilet as many of our service users are unable to manage going upstairs.

JUST WANTED TO SAY A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EVRYONE THAT SUPPORTED US THROUGH THE CROWD FUNDING PAGE. WE ARE STILL RAISING FUNDS TO START THE WORK ON OUR DISABLED TOILET AND HOPE TO BE IN A POSITION TO BE ABLE TO START JANUARY 2018. THE DISAB;ED TOILET IS VITAL FOR US TO REACH THE MOST VUNERABLE PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY. THANK YOU SO MUCH CARRISA LONGSTAFF - TRUSTEE AND THE TEAM AT SOWING SMILES
