    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

The existing render on the church tower is in very poor condition. As the church is a Grade 1 Listed building this work must be done according to high building conservation standards. At the same time, repairs will be carried out to the tower roof, ramparts and any other part of the building needing work. It is also intended to re-gild the clock faces and automate the clock-winding mechanism. This is going to be an expensive project and so in preparation, we are starting to raise funds now.

You can help us to achieve the goal of preserving this well loved church at the heart of the village, visited by thousands every year, by kindly giving generously to our "Grasmere Church Building Fund"'

With grateful thanks from Grasmere Parochial Church Council and the people of Grasmere.
