St Wilfrid's School Bikeathon for Lourdes!

Students at St Wilfrid's are raising funds to help pay for their pilgrimage to Lourdes this summer. In Lourdes, students will be assisting sick, disabled and elderly pilgrims enjoy a week of prayer and peace - a week that for many is the highlight of their year. The pilgrimage comes at a cost to our students and as a school we fund £100 of every students pilgrimage plus more where necessary. We have already had over 30 students apply to go to Lourdes this summer with more applying shortly.

To raise funds, our students will be taking shifts on an exercise bike across the school day on Monday 4th March - aiming to cycle 100 miles across the school day. Not only will this hopefully raise vital funds, but will also further raise the profile of the pilgrimage within our school. Please give what you can to support our students.
